In ultima perioada nu am mai avut timp sa scriu sau sa postez pe blog, totusi nu am dorit ca acest blog sa ramana pustiu si sa dispara, asa ca am hotarat sa ma mobilizez si sa imi fac timp pentru el. M-am hotarat sa prezint in fiecare saptamana cate un personaj emblematic din lumea modei in rubrica ,,On the fashion spot", personaje care vor fi completate cu obisnuitele poze si pictoriale care ma inspira. Si cu cine altcineva sa incep decat cu Anna Dello Russo, unul dintre pesonajele cheie ale modei in decursul ultimului an.

Anna Dello Russo este personajul care alege un look de pe catwalk, oricat de ciudat ar fi acesta si il reproduce identic sau ii adauga mici retusuri personale. Look-urile tip catwalk vs Anna sunt prezentate pe blogul ei personal, de altfel, are un blog personal destul de incarcat si opulent, in antiteza cu majoritatea fashion editorilor carora le place sa fie neutrii sau minimalisti.

Long story short

Nacuta la Bari, Italia, Anna a absolvit ,,Domus academy" din Milano, cu o dubla specializare in literatura italiana si in istoria artei. Dupa facultate a facut un master in moda si a stat sub indrumarea designerului italian Gianfranco Ferre. Dupa o cariera de 18 ani ca fashion editor la revista Vogue Italia, in anul 2000 ea a devenit editor la L'Uomo Vogue, slujba pe care a parasit-o sase ani mai tarziu. In prezent lucreaza ca si editor si consultant creativ la editia japoneza a revistei Vogue.

In ultimii ani Anna a devenit un street style icon, unul dintre cele mai des intalnite personaje pe cele mai populare bloguri de street style din lume, date fiind tinute ei care te uimesc instant.

The theme of this issue was the pop culture. Grease was one of movies that is significant for this culture so we tought about making something similiar to one of Olivia and John's looks from the movie. It was so hard to find a knee lenght skirt, one like the New look blast, so we went with the only option there was right there, not the way I imagined it. The second outfit was about colors and joy and about the pop-art culture and I wished Daisy could be Mickey Mouse in that t-shirt:))

I know Lady Gaga wants to be above fashion and original but I also think she now reached a stripper wannabe look and a diva nono moment. And what about the stars on her boobs, it's nothing original in that pick, she just reminds me of Lil' Kim. Oh Lady Gaga where has your creativity gone to? Maybe it vanished between the moment when she vandalized my dream bag (Gaga writing over a Hermes bag, below image) or as she has become more and more crazy.

I'm still hoping for a great comeback in a new video or something, I miss the times when I watched her clips and said: brillant, she's a fashion genious. What do you think?

Povestea micutei Tavi Gevinson, bloggerita de la Style Rookye este una incredibila, plina de ascensiuni. Totul a inceput de la un blog obisnuit, pana s-a descoperit o minte originala cu o creativitate deosebita si o inteligenta putin peste varsta pe care o avea in perioada respectiva. Au urmat poze cu produse high-class, prezente la Fashion week-uri, controverse asupra unei tinute pe care ea a purtat-o la unul dintre acele evenimente, apoi si mai multa mediatizare si o mica revolta intre fashion editori si bloggeri de moda, in special ea, un copil care dicta moda. Totusi, acest copil, acum in varsta de 14 ani a mai bifat un succes in cariera sa, ea va stiliza un pictorial pentru revista Blackbook, dar nu unul in orice numar ci pentru ,,The september issue", care dupa cum bine stim este cel mai important numar al unei reviste , pentru ca atunci apar principalele tendintele. Protagonista shooting-ului va fi modelul Christine Staub, insa initial in pictorial trebuia sa apara chiar fashionista Chloe Sevigny.

Eu urmaresc de mult fenomenul Tavi si cred ca ar trebui sa ne asteptam la foarte multe surprize de la ea, poate chiar va fi noua Anna Wintour, voi ce parere aveti?
